Here some pics our family in the new house.
On March 28th we got the keys to our new house! The work could begin. To the store for floors (pic 2). Breaking down two walls (pic 4). Painting. Lots of painting. With the kids. By the kids. (Don’t you love the pink?!)
On April 4th our stuff from Austin arrived. Yanoah helped me unpack (pic 9). While Zarah, the cow girl, enjoys riding her bike again (10), Boaz reads in his favorite spot (pic 11) and Sophie tells me about a 1000 times that she is so happy we got all our stuff again! She got right to making all the puzzles (12). While we enjoy playing pie face (send to us by someone who knew that a hard working family needs some fun time together once in a while) in our new spot (pic 14) we know deep in our hearts that Austin really isn’t that far.
On pic 3 you see two of my favorite guys enjoying a lunch in the sun. Pic 5 gives you a little idea of our roof terrace and back yard, which both are pretty big for Dutch norms. Take an extra look at picture 6, there you see THE future of the house: we got a train rails “in the backyard”!

But most of all we take time for things like a stroll through the neighborhood (pic 17&18) and act like true Dutch citizens on Kings day (19&20).
